The Lucille Hettich Elementary Collection

Lucille Hettich was a passionate and caring teacher at Kulm Elementary School for 40 years. After retiring in 1986, she volunteered hundreds of hours in the elementary library and joyfully assisted with whatever work needed to be done.
As a tribute, in 1999, the School Board voted to name Kulm Elementary Library the Lucille Hettich Elementary Library.
 
As a result of Kulm Public School’s 2016 building project, the high school and elementary libraries merged and were renamed. KPS is honored to remember Lucille’s gift to Kulm Elementary by classifying the elementary section the Lucille Hettich Elementary Collection.
